INTERLACHEN, Fla. — A gun was found on the campus of C. H. Price Middle School, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Tuesday.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said the loaded gun was found in the waste band of a student inside C.H. Price Middle School.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a resource officer acted on a tip and found the student in less than a minute.
The student was taken into custody, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies believe the gun was stolen.
