Individual/Household Assistance Grant program available for Putnam residents

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — Attention Putnam County residents, the Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is offering residents an Individual/Household Assistance Grant program funded by CARES Act.

The program will provide up to $2,500 in assistance to households who may have been impacted by COVID-19.

Putnam County residents have until Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at 5 p.m., or until funds expire to apply.

The grant can be used for:

  • Rent or mortgage payments for your primary residence
  • Utility payments associated with your primary residence

Applicant Eligibility:

  • Individuals, up to one per household, who can demonstrate financial hardship directly as a result of COVID-19 are eligible to receive a one-time grant up to a maximum amount of $2,500, to assist with qualified expenses. Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship, provide documentation of the expenses they are requesting assistance with and be residents of Putnam County.
