Putnam teen confined to wheelchair could win bike with help from community

INTERLACHEN, Fla. — A Putnam family is asking for help from the community in getting their teenage son who is confined to a wheelchair a bike to fit his special needs.

Caleb Finch is a 13-year-old junior high student whose parents teach in Interlachen.

He has quad-spastic cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair for the majority of his day.

If he gets enough votes, he will win a custom bike though the Great Bike Giveaway.

Caleb’s father is a high school baseball coach and his twin brother plays baseball.

An adaptive bike would allow Caleb to watch his dad coach and his twin brother play.

“Caleb loves moving. I think an adaptive bike would make him so incredibly happy,” wrote his parents.
