The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a reported robbery at a Metro PCS on Merrill Road when across the street they received another call of a person shot.
No one in the store was injured, according to JSO.
The individual shot is facing non-life-threatening injuries.
JSO is investigating these two incidents separately but is unsure if they are related or not.
