The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office confirmed Saturday evening that they are investigating a shooting near Holmes Boulevard in St. Augustine.
According to deputies, a wounded person walked up to a fire station who was then transported to the Flagler Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
DArrell D. Jenkins, 29, was identified as the victim.
SJCSO said they have taken a man into custody for questioning.
There were several disturbances in the area between multiple individuals deputies told Action News Jax.
