St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum announces annual 5K and family Fun Run

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The Junior Service League of St. Augustine will host the Lighthouse 5k Run/Walk & Fun Run at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum.

Proceeds from the Lighthouse 5K Run/Walk & Fun Run benefit numerous JSL service projects and provide financial support for non-profit organizations in the community.

Activities for children such as face painting, and arts and crafts will be provided. Attendees can climb the tower for free during Night Fest, from 4-8 p.m.

The Lighthouse 5K is a chipped race that serves as a qualifier for the Gate River Run.

Online registration closes at 10 a.m. Friday, September 17.

Registration is $30 before July 31. The Fun Run registration fee is $15.

The Junior Service League of St. Augustine is an organization of women dedicated to volunteerism. Founded in 1935, the organization is committed to bettering the St. Augustine community through service, fundraising, and charitable projects.
