St. Johns County deputies looking for road rage suspect

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Department said they are trying to find a man suspected of cutting a motorist's tires during a road rage attack.

The incident happened Wednesday on Dobbs Road when a driver left the roadway to avoid traffic congestion. When the motorist tried to blend back into traffic, they were blocked by a male in a red Jeep Cherokee.

The suspect exited his car and brandished a large knife, deputies said. The suspect chased the driver around the car and stopped to deflate one of the driver's tires with the knife.

The victim tried to take a photo of the Jeep driver's license plate, but the driver bent the tag so it was unreadable.

The suspect, who is described as a white male, around 6-foot-2, curly brown hair and was wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans.
