St. Johns County: Two arrested in connection with Oklahoma homicide investigation, SJSO says

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A man and a woman have been arrested in St. Johns County on charges related to an Oklahoma homicide investigation.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office first arrested Lindsi Mae Carmella Mayabb, 37, of St. Augustine, on charges of soliciting another to engage in prostitution. Her arrest came after an undercover detective attempted to contact her based on an ad she put on an adult escort website offering prostitution, according to a police report.

After the deputy texted the number in the ad, an unknown person, believed to be Mayabb responded to the detective and sent a photo of herself, SJSO says. This photo was identical to a known photo of Mayabb, according to police.

The subject sent an additional text to the detective stating:

"It's 250 an hour without anal or 300 with anal. Anything goes condoms are a must and you own! No expectations! I will also do doubles with you and a friend if that's what you're into for 450 an hour. For every referral you send my way I'll knock off 50 you're free to send my pics and rate info."

Mayabb was arrested and taken to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office for questioning, SJSO said.

Detectives from Edmond, Oklahoma. had contacted the SJSO regarding the possibility that Mayabb and a male suspect were in St. Johns County and had boarded a plane to travel here.

Detectives then sought the location of the second suspect, identified as, George Stewart Watson, 37, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and traveled to an area hotel near SR16 and I-95, where he was also secured and arrested, according to SJSO.
