A woman is warning her neighbors to be on the lookout after she said she was followed while jogging at St. Johns Golf and Country Club.
Neighborhood watch leader Kimberly Kalke said she’s the third woman to report being approached by a suspicious driver before dawn.
“All three incidents have been women. They’ve all been single joggers. They’ve all been approached in the pre-dawn hours,” she said.
She said that, in the first incident, a woman told her she was approached by a man in a red and white Mini Cooper. “The attempt was to try and entice them into the vehicle,” Kalke said.

On Nov. 1, another woman posted on Facebook, saying a man in a Mini Cooper pulled up next to her on Eagle Point Drive and tried to hand her a bag of something.
Her post says she said, “No thank you.. keep going,” and waved him off.
On Monday, a third woman alerted her neighbors saying a "creepy car" had followed her and, at times, the driver had turned off the headlights.
She said the driver beeped at her twice before driving off. “It’s not a crime to be creepy but we certainly don’t want anything more sinister than that,” Kalke said.
She said she alerted deputies and the neighborhood’s security company, which is ramping up patrols.
Deputies said if something doesn’t feel right in your neighborhood, don't hesitate to call them. Kalke is urging her neighbors to run in pairs and report any suspicious persons to authorities.
I’m told all three women were approached before sunrise — while they were alone.
