2023 Military Appreciation Day at THE PLAYERS: Everything you need to know before you go

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Plans for Military Appreciation Day at THE PLAYERS Championship are set, including the artist who will be performing at the annual concert and the time of the appreciation ceremony.

Veterans and active duty military are also able to get free tickets to THE PLAYERS. Read on to find out how to claim your free tickets.

THE PLAYERS Military Appreciation Day entertainment

Country music star Riley Green will be headlining the Military Appreciation Day Concert on Tuesday, March 7.

Green’s multiple Platinum-certified hits include, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” and “There Was This Girl.” Green has toured with Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean and Jon Pardi, and will be touring with 2018 PLAYERS headliner Luke Combs this summer.

THE PLAYERS Military Appreciation Day Ceremony

This year’s Military Appreciation Day Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, March 7, at 4:30 p.m. on the Island Green 17th Hole. The Military Appreciation Day Ceremony and Concert is free to any Tuesday ticket holder; a Tuesday Stadium Pass starts at just $30 and is available for purchase at THEPLAYERS.com/tickets.

Flyover tradition continues

The annual tradition of a flyover on Military Appreciation Day will continue in 2023 and will feature the 125th Fighter Wing.Tuesday parking is separate and must be purchased in advance.

Military ticket offerings for THE PLAYERS 2023:

All active duty, retired, reserve and National Guard members verified through the military identification system and one dependent are provided access to complimentary tickets on Tuesday, March 7, and Wednesday, March 8, as well as one competition day, Thursday, March 9, through Sunday, March 12. Tickets are available while supplies last.  Complimentary tickets secured through this verification process will include a $20 digital voucher that can be used at any on-site food vendor for food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Veteran ticket offerings for THE PLAYERS 2023:

Veterans verified through the military identification system and one dependent are provided access to discounted tickets on Tuesday, March 7, and Wednesday, March 8, as well as on one competition day, Thursday, March 9, through Sunday, March 12. Tickets are while supplies last.  Discounted tickets secured through the verification process will include a $20 digital voucher that can be used at any on-site food vendor for food and non-alcoholic beverages.

To secure military and veteran tickets, follow these steps:

1. Visit THEPLAYERS.com/tickets and click CLAIM TICKETS in the Military Admission section.

2. Select your chosen tournament day(s).

3. Verify your military designation using GovX by selecting the link on the checkout page.

4. Once verified, complete the transaction and access your tickets on THE PLAYERS’ digital portal.

5. Add your ticket(s) to your mobile wallet prior to arrival.

Patriots’ Outpost Returns

All active duty, retired, reserve, National Guard members, veterans and their dependents will have access to the Patriots’ Outpost, an upgraded open-air hospitality space located near No. 16 tee that is reserved exclusively for servicemembers to enjoy throughout tournament week (must have valid military I.D.).

Military Job Fair

THE PLAYERS, in partnership with the Jacksonville Military Veterans Coalition, will host its 12th annual Military Job Fair on Saturday, March 4 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Patriots’ Outpost. The Military Job Fair is free and open to military personnel, veterans and military spouses. Approximately 30 companies with existing job opportunities will be on-site.

PGA TOUR Fan Shop discounts

On Tuesday, March 7, active duty, retired, reserve and National Guard members will receive a 20% discount in the PGA TOUR Fan Shop in the Stadium Village (must have valid military I.D.).
