A home in St. Johns County was surrounded by law enforcement deputies Wednesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Chuck Mulligan with the St. Johns Sheriff’s Office told Action News Jax, gunshots were heard at a home early Wednesday morning, near the intersection of Costanero Road and Treasure Beach Road.
SJSO said deputies arrived to the home shortly after 4:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire on Rojo Road. Witnesses told them a neighbor had been firing a weapon in the air. SJSO began trying to make contact with the person inside. The person came out of the home around 7 a.m. and was “secured without further incident.” Authorities are investigating.
Action News Jax has learned there were no reports of any injuries.
