ST JOHNS COUNTY — The St. Johns County Communications Division said on Thursday that SJC beaches are expected to feel the Nor’easter this weekend.

This means that beaches are forecasted to experience unusually high surf and tides, dangerous currents, and strong winds along the coastline.

Anyone who plans on going to the beaches this weekend and early next week are asked to be extra caution and avoid swimming in the water.

The St. Johns County Communications Division also mentions that some access points and on-beach parking areas may be restricted.
