ORIGINAL STORY: The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a young man who punched an elderly man in the head on Saturday morning during a campaign rally.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the elderly man approached the young man regarding political signs on his golf cart. The elderly man asked him to remove the signs due to profanity.

Police say the young man then punched the elderly man in the head and knocked him to the ground. He then fled on his golf cart towards the Twenty Mile neighborhood.
