St. Johns County is launching new phase of CARES recovery programs

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — More help is on the way for small businesses and non-profit organizations in St. Johns County that are struggling financially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Monday morning at 10 AM, the county will be officially launching Phase II of the CARES Small Business Recovery Program and Phase II of the CARES Nonprofit Grant Program.

Small businesses that qualify can receive up to $20,000 to spend on mortgage/rent, utilities, payroll, PPE, and more. The county says business grant amounts depend on the number of employees at the business.

As for the non-profit assistance, the county says grant award amounts are determined by the organizational need.
