St. Johns County to offer self-defense classes at library

Self-defense training will be provided by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Johns County Public Library.

The class will be two days from 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on March 2 and 3.

The class will be offered again from 2 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on March 19 and 20 at the Ponte Vedra Branch Library.

The courses will allow participants to practice self-defense skills with members of law enforcement who have the knowledge and background to educate in personal safety practices. The classes are free.
