Starbucks, Taco Bell coming to Durbin Creek, Seafood restaurant reopens its doors in Jax Beach

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — New restaurants and coffee shops are in the works across Jacksonville.

A new coffee, breakfast shop is opening soon in Harbor Village in Jacksonville, on Atlantic Boulevard.

Right next to the Blue Orchid Thai restaurant you’ll see the signs for the new Gahwa Café.

They’re planning on having dine in and outdoor seating.

We spotted their coming soon sign above the door.

On Facebook the restaurant shared they have a few more inspections and then they will launch a soft opening.

The Jacksonville metro will also welcome a new Starbucks location soon.

JEA confirmed that construction plans have been approved for a Starbucks at Durbin Creek.

Next up in that process is a pre-construction meeting with JEA before construction can start.

JEA also approved a service availability request for Taco Bell at Durbin creek crossing.

Both of these will be just west of the intersection of Race Track road and St. Johns Parkway.

In Jacksonville Beach, Action News Jax told you back in January about the Crab Cake Factory Seafood Bar and Grille planning to reopen after 12 years.

The restaurant officially reopened.
