Stylist charged with using clients' credit cards

YULEE, Fla. — A hair stylist was arrested Tuesday after Nassau County Sheriff's Office detectives say he used clients' credit cards after taking photos of them on his cellphone.

Larry James Deason, 39, of Fernandina Beach, is charged with four counts of felony fraudulent use of a credit card and two counts of misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit card, according to a release from Sheriff Bill Leeper.

Deason, who worked at Great Clips Hair Cut Salon in Yulee, charged a total of $2,326.70 on six different credit cards, Leeper said.

In addition to the fraud charges, Deason was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving while license suspended.
