Suspicious death on Jackson Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Deputies with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office were called to Jackson Road in reference to a suspicious death late Friday night.

Police tell Action News a man fell and was transported to the UF Health, where he went into medical distress.

According to officers the man was pronounced deceased upon arrival to UF Health.

Police say the cause of death is unknown.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene and are still investigating.
