Things to do for Valentine's Day in Jacksonville

If you missed the boat on dinner reservations, don't worry. It's not too late to make plans to celebrate Valentine's Day with your special someone.

There are several things you can do, that won't break the bank.

1. Lunch @ the Lounge

Instead of a dinner date, you can pack your own lunch and head to the Main Library downtown for the Lunch @ the Lounge concert series, featuring folk music by Friction Farm. That's from noon to 1 p.m.

2. Jacksonville Zoo

For a wild time the whole family can enjoy -- the Jacksonville Zoo is offering buy-one-get-one free admission.

3. Banksy

If your love is a fan of the arts -- a piece by anonymous street artist Banksy valued at more than $2 million will be on display at the Jacksonville Main Library, along with local street artists' work. The exhibit opening is this evening starting at 5:30. It's free and open to the public.

4. Ancient City Brewing

And what better way to say "I love you" than with craft beer? Ancient City Brewing in St. Augustine is hosting a Beer and Chocolate Pairing night at its downtown tap room.
