Three injured in Mandarin crash while changing tire

JACKNSONVILLE, Fla. — Three people are hospitalized after being hit by a car while trying to change a tire on Old St. Augustine Road near the Shoppes at Bartram Park.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says a Good Samaritan stopped behind a broken down car just after Midnight.   While three people were attempting to change the tire, a car hit them.

The driver stayed on scene and was talking with police.  We are working to find out if any charges may be filed, and also to update the condition of the three people who were injured.
