A toddler was hit and killed by a car in Baker County Tuesday night, according to a Florida Highway Patrol traffic report.

FHP said one-year-old Colton Graham ran into the road on south 9th Street around 10:30 p.m.
According to the report, the driver of the Lincoln Town car swerved to avoid other pedestrians and hit the child.

The 40-year-old driver came to an immediate stop and cooperated with the investigators on scene, the report stated.
The toddler was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.
No charges have been filed at this time.
