• Tom Coughlin Jay Fund hosts early Valentine's Day party at Jacksonville Zoo for cancer patients

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund hosted a Valentine's Day party Saturday for Jacksonville families tackling childhood cancer.

Some of the children spend many days at the hospital undergoing treatment for cancer but Saturday was all about fun at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. More than 80 families came to make memories outside the hospital room. There were crafts, games, food and cookie decorating. Afterward, kids got to check out the animal exhibits at the zoo.

"It's really about the kids," said fund Executive Director Keli Coughlin. "But we're also seeing so many parents connect with other parents who can really relate to what they're going through."
