Trader Joe's in Jacksonville Beach set to open Oct. 3

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — Action News has learned the opening date for the Trader Joe's coming to Jacksonville Beach.

The store, which will be located in the South Beach Regional Shopping Center at the corner of A1A and J. Turner Butler Boulevard, is scheduled to open Oct. 3 at 8 a.m.  

According to a release from Trader Joe's, the store carries items such as "fresh baked artisan breads, Arabica bean coffees, international frozen entrées, 100 percent juices, fresh crop nuts, deli items, and vitamins and supplements, as well as the basics, like milk and eggs."

This will be the first Trader Joe's in the Jacksonville metropolitan area, as other locations of the popular, quirky grocery store are already open in other Florida cities like Gainesville, Miami, Naples, Tampa and Tallahassee.
