According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office a train hit a dump truck in the Bostwick area of Putnam County.
The Florida High Patrol was on scene. Troopers said the crossing is blocked at U.S. 17.
According to an FHP crash report, the truck was traveling on an unnamed road near U.S. 17 and entered the path of the Amtrak train. The train then collided with the back of the truck, the report said.
The report said there were 109 passengers plus the Amtrak staff on the train at the time of the crash, and no injuries were reported.
While there are not crossing arms or lights at this crossing, there are signs on both sides of the tracks, according to the report.
