Jacksonville’s new professional soccer team is holding open tryouts. Armada FC is looking for seven local and regional players to join the roster.
The tryouts are at Patton Park on 2850 Hodges Blvd. from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. More than 150 players have already registered.
The club will play its first game in the North American Soccer League in spring 2015.
The public is welcome to attend the tryouts.
