USDA recalls frozen chicken tortellini delivered to Florida warehouses

The United States Department of Agriculture has issued a recall for frozen chicken tortellini from O Sole Mio, Inc. out of Canada.

The USDA said that the chicken tortellini products were produced without inspection by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

The 20-oz packages contain the lot code: 293018 abd say "USE ON OR FREEZE BY JAN. 18 19".

According to the USDA the products with the named lot code were shipped to Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

"There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider," Mich Adams with the USDA said in the release. "FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ freezers or refrigerators. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase."
