Veteran job fair hosted in downtown Jacksonville

CareerSource Northeast Florida will host a job fair for veterans Tuesday at the Florida State College of Jacksonville’s Advanced Technology Center in downtown Jacksonville at 9 a.m.

The ‘Paychecks for Patriots’ hiring event is in its fifth year and is dedicated to connecting quality employers with local veterans.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at FSCJ’s Advanced Technology Center at 401 West State Street.

There is also an employment workshop for military spouses, as well as a workshop on the federal employment application process to aid veterans and their families.

Participants must register for the event online.
