Walmart will now deliver groceries to your house in Jacksonville

Walmart said on Friday that they would begin grocery delivery service for some Jacksonville residents -- on the same day as ordered -- for a $9.95 fee.

Walmart said customers visit walmart.com/grocery or through the Walmart Grocery mobile app and order using their zip codes and shopping lists. You can select a time for delivery, Walmart said.

Personal shoppers will be hired to select the items, the company said. The shopper will then drive directly to the customer’s location during a 1-hour delivery window.

Online Grocery Delivery is available at 13 stores in Jacksonville metro area right now, Walmart said.
