WHOOT THERE IT IS: Jags to celebrate 90's night for last preseason game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars announced a special Throwback Thursday for the final preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons Aug. 29.

TIAA Bank Field will  host 90's Night in celebration of the team's 25th season.

“From a ‘Space Jam’ inspired kickoff video to special performances by THE ROAR, we’re bringing the 90s to every part of the game day experience," Jaguars Chief Marketing Officer Julian Duncan said. "We hope fans will come dressed in their throwback Jags gear and join our tribute to the 25th season.”

Members of the Quad City Family will perform a halftime mashup of some of their biggest 90's hits "Whoot There It Is," and "Tootsee Roll." Quad City Family member Jay McGowan, who co-wrote and produced hits resulting in over 25 million albums sales, will be delivering the first "DUUUUUVAL" of the game.

There will also be a limited supply of one-of-a-kind 90s fan packs that include:

  • A printed ticket to the Jaguars vs. Falcons game
  • A retro 25th season T-shirt featuring Jaguars logos, past and present
  • A 25th season fanny pack approved for stadium entry all season long
  • A Jaguars scrunchie
  • A 25th season slap bracelet
