Woman shot in East Jacksonville apartment complex

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the Oakland Terrace Apartments after they received a report of a woman shot in the foot early Sunday morning.

The woman told officers she was sitting on the steps when a light colored four-door car pulled into the complex.

She told police she heard one shot from the car and felt the bullet hit her foot.

According to the JSO, the woman did not recognize the car.
