JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman was shot while walking on the sidewalk on 103rd Street near IHOP on Thursday afternoon, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Multiple called 911 to report that the woman had been shot. Witnesses told officers they heard a "pop" and then said they saw the woman fall to the ground.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition.
Police said they do not have any suspect or vehicle information in connection with the shooting at this time.
Investigators also said it is not certain if the victim was targeted or if the shooting was random.
