Man faces 10 charges following police-involved shooting

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The suspect in a police involved shooting incident is out of the hospital and in jail.

The police-involved shooting happened on June 2 on Park Avenue near Highway 17. The Clay County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a robbery or armed robbery.

Officers shot the suspect, Jarvis Lee, during the incident. He was treated at UF Health Jacksonville.

Lee faces multiple charges including:

  • Attempted murder of law enforcement officer
  • Burglary of a dwelling
  • Robbery-armed with a firearm or other deadly weapon
  • Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill
  • Burglary of an occupied dwelling
  • Discharge of a weapon into an occupied vehicle
  • Felon in possession of a firearm
  • Burglary of a dwelling/grand theft/criminal mischief
  • Burglary of a dwelling/criminal mischief $1000 or more
  • Aggravated fleeing
