Man kills 719 pound gator in Lakeland

LAKELAND, Fla. — A Lakeland man nabbed a seven hundred and nineteen pound alligator by shooting it with a crossbow and then wrestled down.

He says he called the alligator with an electric call.

And then shot the twelve foot gator with a crossbow.

That man was hunting with a licensed trapper. According to the landowner of that property, the gator was a nuisance and needed to be removed.
