Man arrested for stealing woman's credit card at gas station

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police arrested Jason William Deyo for Burglary to a Conveyance and Fradulent Use of Credit Cards. He admitted to police he took the credit card out of an 84-year-old woman's car while she was pumping gas and used it.

Investigators say the woman was pumping gas at a Gate gas station on Merrill Road on June 12 when a man opened the passenger door of her car and grabbed her walle

Authorities captured images of a man using the victim's credit card at the Walmart on Merrill Road a short time later.  Deyo now says he wants his picture removed from Facebook.

Deyo attempted to steal a televeision from Walmart on Monday, June 23, 2014.  He pushed the TV out of the front doors of the store in a cart without paying for it.  As loss prevention made contact, he dropped the television, jumped into a vehicle and left.

When police came to his residence, he got on his hands and knees and crawled out of the rear sliding glas door.  Police chased Deyo on foot and caught him.
