Jacksonville, Fl — Our brief cold snap, and first freeze of the season, is now over. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking a mild finish to the work week.
Temperatures will climb through the 70s with thickening clouds. Our next chance for rain is this evening and overnight. The timing for the band of showers passing through NE Florida is 7 pm to midnight. The line of showers will pass through SE Georgia between 6 pm and 9 pm.
A few showers may develop ahead of this front early this evening. We should be dry before sunrise on Saturday. Morning lows will dip down to the upper 40s inland and lower 50s closer to the coast.
Saturday will become sunny with highs in the mid 60s. Clouds increase again on Sunday with a brief shower late in the day into early Monday.
