Predator Alert: Man wanted for failure to register captured in Florida

JASPER, Fla. — A man wanted for failure to register as a sex offender in Florida was caught.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Tommy Lee Nails was arrested Thursday night by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in Jasper, Fla.

Nails had a warrant issued by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register since Dec. 13, 2016. He appeared on Action News Jax's Predator Alert on Dec. 21, 2016.
