Early morning fire in Jacksonville strip mall contained to antique store

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is on the scene of a structure fire near San Juan Ave. and Blanding Blvd.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is also on the scene to provide traffic control.

As of 7:10 a.m. all lanes of Blanding Blvd. are back open according to JSO.

Blanding Blvd. was closed between Shirley and Palmer Avenues due to the fire.

JFRD said that the fire under control around 5:30 a.m. and the Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause.

The fire was contained to the Orange Tree Antiques Shop in the strip mall according to JFRD.
