DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Delray Beach, Florida, police confirmed in a Twitter post that a 23-month-old boy who was found in a hot car Saturday afternoon died at Bethesda Hospital shortly after arriving.
Detectives have confirmed that the 1-year-old boy found in a hot car today was pronounced dead at Bethesda a short time after arriving.

Delray Beach Fire Rescue responded to a call about a toddler found in a hot car just after 3:20 p.m. in the 5000 block of Northwest Fifth Street in Rainberry Woods near South Military Trail. First responders took the boy to Bethesda Hospital.
Detectives say the toddler may have been in the hot car for hours before his family knew.
