Uno debuts new 'nonpartisan' version of game just in time for the holidays

Uno released new ‘nonpartisan’ version of game in time for the holidays

For those dreading contentious political discussions at family gatherings this holiday season, Mattel is offering a new version of a classic game to keep things fun.

Uno Nonpartisan removes the red and blue cards from the deck to avoid any association with the Republican or Democrat parties. There's also a special "veto" card that can be used to skip the turn of any player who brings up politics during the game.

A 2006 American Psychological Association survey found that 38 percent of respondents said that their stress levels increased during the holiday season.
