William Lewis Porter, 50, of Zephyrhills was charged with second-degree murder in the death of David Brady, 54, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. Celina Marie Porter, 18, also of Zephyrhills, was charged with accessory after the fact to murder, according to booking records.

Both were booked into the Pasco County Jail early Wednesday, the Times reported.

During a news conference Wednesday, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said William Porter and Brady were drinking beer at a park. Porter became angry when he believed Brady made an inappropriate comment about his daughter, Nocco said.

Porter said Brady attacked him and drew a gun, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Porter took the gun away and shot Brady in the chest, killing him, according to an arrest report.

Deputies said that Celina Porter received a call from her father asking for help. Porter told his daughter, "We gotta bury a body," Nocco said.

William Porter loaded Brady into his truck, and he and his daughter drove 40 minutes to a location near Lakeland and dumped the body, the television station reported.
