According to the Miami Herald, deputies in Florida rescued a 3-foot-long alligator Wednesday after Polk City residents spotted the reptile underneath a Circle K vending machine. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office later took to Twitter to share a series of photos snapped during the incident.

“The people of #PolkCity wanted to highlight their most recent PCSO gator rescue as well so they sent in these pics,” the post read. “This little guy was hanging out under a vending machine @CircleKStores. Three deputies later, he was no longer freaking people out and the subject of lots of pics!”

The rescue came a day after deputies nabbed a 5 1/2-foot gator after finding from the porch of an Eagle Lake home, the Herald reported. Authorities “were sure to say ‘see ya later’” when they relocated the reptile to Lake McLeod, the Sheriff’s Office tweeted.
