Kobe Bryant memorial tickets on sale tomorrow

The tickets for the memorial service for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna will go on sale Wednesday, the Lakers have announced.

Those who wanted to attend, and have the chance to purchase tickets had to register on Ticketmaster between Friday until Monday. Those who were successful in registering will receive an email or text message with instructions on how to buy the tickets Wednesday, KCBS reported.

The cost of the tickets ranges from $24.02 to $224. If there are more requests than tickets available, those registered will be entered into a lottery and will be randomly selected.

The memorial will be held Monday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. PT at the Staples Center, CNN reported.

No overflow areas will be available and team officials are asking those without tickets not to come to the Staples Center, KCBS reported.

Proceeds from the tickets will go to Bryant’s foundation that helps underserved communities through sports. Mamba Sports Foundation was renamed last week, adding Mambacita to the name to honor Gianna Bryant.

Kobe Bryant, his daughter and seven others were killed when his helicopter crashed outside of Los Angeles on Jan. 26, CNN reported. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

A service for Alyssa Atobelli, John Atobelli and Keri Atobelli was held at Angel Stadium on Feb 10, CNN reported.
