The winning numbers for Friday were 23, 27, 41, 48, and 51, and the gold Mega Ball was 22.

According to WPIX, the winning ticket was reportedly sold at the Liberty Beer and Convenience on Liberty Avenue in the Ozone Park neighborhood of Queens in New York City, lottery officials said.

“It’s by far the largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won in the month of April since the game began in 2002, and is the 13th largest jackpot in Mega Millions history,” lottery officials said in a news release. The winner won an estimated $476 million ($253.1 million cash).

The jackpot had been increasing since the last winner in Massachusetts on Jan. 31.

There were other big winners in Friday’s drawing, including two tickets that matched the five white balls, winning $1 million, according to lottery officials. Those two tickets were sold in Illinois and Massachusetts.

The next drawing is on Tuesday, and the jackpot reset to $20 million ($10.6 million cash).

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350. The game is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
