The woman has multiple sclerosis and was unable to get out of the tub on her own, according to court documents.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the woman “was suffering from horrific wounds from sitting in the tub reportedly for days.” She was also sitting in “inches of human waste,” KCTV reported.

According to charging documents, the woman had pressure sores on her body. After being examined by a doctor, it was determined that her wounds could have been life-threatening if they had not been treated, KMBC reported.

Officers said they found two malnourished 5-year-old girls in the apartment’s bedroom, WDAF reported. One of the children weighed just 33.5 pounds, and one of them also had substantial hair loss because of malnutrition, doctors said. Both children were eating out of a cereal bag, KMBC reported.

In 2020, the Children’s Division reported four hotline calls about Snow and alleged abuse and neglect of the children. Snow, by an agreement, was not supposed to have contact with them, KCTV reported.

Prosecutors have requested $65,000 bail, WDAF reported. Snow is being held at the Jackson County Detention Center, according to online booking records.
