Lorenzo Malik Harewood, 25, was arrested Monday evening after he took exception to the quality of the haircut he received and attacked the barber, KTVK and KSAZ-TV reported.

According to the probable cause for arrest statement, “Lorenzo was not given his money back, and he proceeded to punch the victim in the mouth,” KTVK reported, noting police stated he punched the barber an “unknown number of times.”

Investigators said Harewood then ripped a yellow chain necklace from around the victim’s neck and ran out of the shop but dropped the jewelry as he fled, KSAZ-TV reported.

Meanwhile, court documents indicate that Harewood hit another vehicle as he exited the barber shop’s parking lot, KTVK reported.

According to the TV station, Harewood was arrested on suspicion of robbery and is due back in court on Sept. 22.
