Texas family offering $3,000 reward in search for missing service dog

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — A Texas family is seeking the public’s help in the search for their missing service dog.

According to KENS-TV, Melissa Parker of New Braunfels said her family will pay $3,000 in reward money for the safe return of her elderly, sick father’s dog, Molly.

The 40-pound mixed-breed dog vanished last month while in the care of a sitter, Parker told KENS. She described Molly as white with black spots and a fluffy tail, the station reported.

Molly’s disappearance came as Parker’s father was being treated in a hospital, according to WOAI-TV. He suffers from seizures, brain damage and short-term memory problems, Parker told the news outlets.

If you see a dog that fits Molly’s description, text a photo to 817-235-6264 or visit the Find Molly Facebook group.
