Passenger identified in hit-and-run crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A teen is dead after a hit-and-run crash on the Westside.

A car with three men inside crashed into another car at Lane and Lenox avenues on Wednesday.

Police said a man got out of his car to exchange information with the three other men when they sped away.

The three men lost control of their car at Memorial Park Road and Old Middleburg Road, according to JSO.

The car flipped and broke apart.

Tyriq D. Grant, 15, was a passenger in the car and died in the crash.

Grant and two other people in the car were taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
