Former Jaguar Tony Boselli, Jacksonville native LeRoy Butler named finalists for Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2021

CANTON, Ohio — Former Jacksonville Jaguars player Tony Boselli is once again one of the 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Boselli and former Jags RB Fred Taylor were named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 25 Modern-Era Player Semifinalists for the Class of 2021 in November. Taylor did not make the cut for the finalists.

This is the sixth time the offensive lineman has made the semifinals and the fifth time he has made the finals.

Also making the final round is LeRoy Butler, who was a graduate of Lee High School and played his whole career with the Green Bay Packers, and Torry Holt, who played for the Jaguars during the 2009 season but spent the majority of his career with the St. Louis Rams.

The Class of 2021 will be determined and announced during the week leading up to Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Fla.

Former Jaguars wide receiver Jimmy Smith was among the 130 nominees announced in September.
