Jacksonville's Solomon Kindley hopes he will hear his name called during the NFL Draft, which is now virtual due to the coronavirus pandemic.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The NFL Draft is closing in and it is still on as scheduled.

The draft prospects are taking a different path to living out their dream. The coronavirus has made draft hopefuls work in a different way and meet with teams with the use of technology instead of meeting in person.

Local product Solomon Kindley is one of those players that is projected to be drafted on the weekend of April 23.

The offensive lineman from Raines High School and the Georgia Bulldogs is back home working in a neighborhood field.

He won’t have the luxury of pro days in front of scouts and team visits, but is fortunate to have done well at the NFL Combine.
