Starke woman killed in crash on US-301, south of CR-18, FHP says

A three-vehicle crash resulted in the death of Lisamaray Marrero, 21, of Starke, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Marrero was driving north on US-301 south of CR-18 when her car crossed the median and entered the southbound lanes, the report said. This caused the front of a second car to collide with the right side of Marrero’s car. A third car swerved to avoid hitting Marrero’s car, but also collided with the front of her car.

The driver of the second car, Shauna Clifton, 21, of Gainesville, has serious injuries, FHP says.
